My most treasured memories of Nanny J will always be the times I went round her house. Me and my brothers always loved visiting her on Tuesday evenings. She would cook us delicious omelettes and bake the most delightful desserts. No food could possibly match her incredible syrup tart! I adored spending the night round nan’s house when I was little. We would watch TV, eat lots of the delicious food she cooked and look after her pets! (Buster and Tigger) We went on so many walks round different routes in Laurel Fields with her dog Buster and sometimes, we would end up getting lost! Nanny J taught me so many different things in life and looked after me a lot as a child. She used to absolutely love watching me play the piano for her and she would tell me how much I have improved every week! She was such a lovely, elegant woman and she was always there whenever you needed her. Memories with her will always be a treasured part of my life that I will always look back on and smile. I love her and I will miss her very very much
